She lived at her home on River Drive for 55 years. Vera was active in her membership at Riverview. She was a charter member of the Ladies Guild and served on the Altar Guild.
She joined the Valparaiso University Guild of Appleton and was elected to a state office in that organization. Vera enjoyed working with the women of Riverview making quilts for the Apache mission in Arizona.
She also enjoyed traveling with Henry and being at the cottage on Lake Arbutus. Most of all, she liked to take care of her and her family.
